Replacing the encoder on the iJetColor 1175 Envelope Press

            For this repair, you will need a 7/64” Allen wrench and a 9/64” Allen wrench.

1.      Begin by removing the leftmost skin from the front of the unit, exposing the encoder (circled in orange below).

2.      Remove the cable attached to the right side of the encoder by unscrewing it.

3.      Using a 9/64” Allen wrench, remove the outrigger screw which holds the encoder onto the frame.

4.      Now, take a look at the space between the encoder and the frame. You should see a metal collar in that gap with a small screw which holds it on (circled in orange below). Loosen this screw using a 7/64” Allen wrench.
