Cleaning The Print Platen

The print platen is a component on the iJetColor 1175 envelope press which resides under the printhead. Its purpose is to catch excess ink when bleeding or utilizing the spitbar functionality. Cleaning the print platen can be necessary on the 1175 when the print platen fills up with ink and begins to mark on the bottom of envelopes. This video will explain the process of cleaning off this part.
